Tuning cards store data magnetically. Bringing the card close to a magnet can destroy the data on the card.
Heat is used to erase and print characters on the card. Leaving the card in direct sunlight for long periods of time can cause the printed characters to disappear.
Bending the card prevents the machine from reading the data. So don't bend the cards!
One thing that we often saw with Wangan Maxi 2 and 3 was that when the cards were placed in a case or wallet with a button, when pressure was put on the button an imprint was left on the card, making it unusable. As things like this can cause your data to be lost, please take good care of your cards.

Wangan Maxi 3DX Cards have "3DX" printed on the top right.Cards that are used lengthwise and that don't have 3DX printed on them are Wangan Maxi 3 cards.
