No. 72009.1.28
Dear Wangan Midnight-obsessed friends, grown-ups, and everyone,
I think I need to introduce myself for newcomers. I'm Yamamoto, the starter racer director.
I'm glad to meet you here.
Well, for the game Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3DX, created as a sequel to the Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3, the so-called "naming meeting" was held in the early summer of 2008.
∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼
Sergeant Maeda DX:
"Hello, hello, Mr. Takenaka and Mr. Nagamatsu. Let's start the naming meeting for the sequel to Wangan Max. 3. So, tell me what you have."
Nagamatsu:
"Yes, sir! How about Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3SPECIAL?"
Takenaka:
"How about Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune Z?"
Sergeant Maeda DX:
"Not that good..."
Nagamatsu:
"Well then, how about a simpler version like Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3R?"
Takenaka:
"What do you think of this? Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3Sparking!"
Sergeant Maeda DX:
"Mr. Takenaka! Please get away from Dra***Ball! Either way, it doesn't sound good..."
Takenaka:
"How come you don't like my Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3Spa******! !?"
Sergeant Maeda DX:
"Oh, shush, Mr. Takenaka! The title ends were changed from the last one! With that kinda title, it'll be caught for prohibited characters, and we can't sell it! Get off whatever planet you're on! Dea** Ball! ...Boom!!..."
∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼ (This is partially fiction) ∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼∼
Well, this kinda meeting was held in private.
Other name proposals were submitted, they were a jumble of good and bad...3RR (three double r), 3Evo, 3R ∼Devil in Metropolitan Expressway∼ et cetera et cetera. About 1,000 name proposals were suggested. Then, finally, the name was decided upon as Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3DX.
(Yup, through many twists and turns!!)
Wow, even just for a title name it's a lot of work.
Well then, see you again.
From Yamamoto, who is actually about to read DX as "dee-x."
